PA 6 E (polyamide 6 extruded)
PA 6 E offers an optimum combination of mechanical strength, stiffness, toughness and mechanical damping.
Combined with very good wear resistance, good electrical insulation properties and good chemical resistance, extruded PA 6 is a “universal” material for construction and maintenance.

The properties of PA 6 E are:- high mechanical strength, stiffness, toughness and hardness
- good fatigue resistance
- very high wear resistance
- very good sliding and emergency running properties
- good heat ageing resistance
- high resistance to high-energy radiation (gamma and X-radiation)
- good electrical insulation properties
- high mechanical damping capacity
- good machinability
Applications
PA 6 E can be used in the following areas:- Castors and wheels
- Plain bearings and sliding plates
- Gears
- Sliding profiles
- Bushings, rings and washers
Modification options
Modification by additives for the improvement of properties.- PA 6 E GF30 (with 30% glass fibers for higher strength, stiffness, creep resistance and dimensional stability)
- PA 6 E FR (fire protection material with halogen- and phosphorus-free flame retardant, certified to EN 45545-2)
